When I first launched Jazer Reality (as “josh_vr”) back in February of last year, I did not think it was go as far as it did: 700+ YouTube subscribers and 7000+ TikTok followers.  For that, I am most thankful.

Starting on YouTube, I uploaded the most recent Gorilla Tag news of the time, in 30 seconds or less.  As a YouTube Short, it did…okay.  But uploading it as a long-form video proved its worth to other players: over 12,000 views.  I knew this would be my life for a while.  I then started up an associated TikTok account, and though the first few videos I uploaded didn’t do the best, on March 14, 2022, I uploaded a video I edited in CapCut in ~15 minutes, with just the simple text saying: “POV: You treat this video well,” and a screenshot stating “josh_gtagvr started following you.”

The video got 20k+ views in just under two weeks, skyrocketing my follower count (by way of “follow4follow” which I don’t recommend) and landing me at ~2000 followers by the end of March.  I started uploading more and more on TikTok while still maintaining the YouTube channel, both growing steadily.

Around May, I got the opportunity to work with KIWIdesign, a VR accessory company, and I uploaded two videos reviewing their products, one in October, and the other in January.

Jazer Reality has been such a blast.  Meeting new people and bonding with other fellow creators has inspired me over the past year, and I’m so thankful for everything that’s come out of this.

As of February 1, 2023, JCS Ventures, parent organization to Jazer Reality, has sunset the channel.
